Lucy woke up and yawned as the sun streamed in through the window. She stretched and smiled at the sun light that came in from her window making everything in her room glow with a golden light.
It was leisure day. A day where sims all over Sim Nation took the day off of work to celebrate with there friends and neighbors and join in the celebration of all things Summer.
As promiced, she called Presley and they agreed to meet at the park where the celebrations were held.
“Common Lucy, it will be fun!” Presley laughed pointing to the hot dog eating contest stand. Lucy’s stomach turned at the thought of cramming hot dogs down her throat. It made her feel a little queasy.
“I think i’ll pass,” she laughed. “I’m not known for having a strong stomach, you go ahead. Win for the both of us will ya.” She urged him forward, and left him too it, not wanting to watch people stuffing there faces with pork by product.
Rollerskating looked fun. It was something she had never done before. She wasn’t that good, and she fell on her butt a bunch of times. If she kept it up, she was going to have a bruise the size of Texas on her rump come morning.
As soon as Presley finished the contest he joined her on the rink. He was worse then she was spending more time on his butt then his feet. He gave her one of his lop sided smiles that should have turned her insides to mush but left her feeling empty and just kinda sad. He grabbed her hands and they started to spin in circles on the rink. She didn’t pull away.
Spinning in circles after eating all those hot dogs probably wasn’t the brightest idea, but Presley held it all in not wanting to embarass himself in front of Lucy.
Lucy enjoyed her crushed ice, deep in thought. Things would just be so easy if she allowed herself to develop feelings for Presley. He was good on paper, good looking, funny, smart, he had a job. So why couldn’t she feel the same way? What was wrong with her? Was she that damaged from the crappy relationships she had in her past?
After a fun day out, Lucy and Presley went back to Lucy’s place for drinks. Lucy didn’t drink that often and used the drinks to cover up her nervousness. After a few she began to loosen up, she found herself laughing at his jokes more, and flirting. She couldn’t help it, she was a light weight and didn’t hold her alcohol well.
She leaned in close this time noticing the golden and green flecks in his eyes. “You’re cute” she hiccuped. Presley laughed, flattered, he was also drunk, and seemed pleased by the attention.
In mid conversation Lucy lunged forward and grabbed Presley and planted one on him. He put up his hands at first like he wasn’t sure if he wanted to push her away, but relaxed and leaned into her kiss.
The kiss lasted for a long time. She leaned against him, partly because she was unsteady from the drinks, and also because it just felt so nice to be held and cared about. Somewhere inside she knew this was wrong, but she couldn’t bring herself to stop.
She kissed Presley like her life depended on it. His lips were soft and warm. He smelled wonderful too, like sunshine and warm clothes from the dryer.
Finally the kiss came to an end after several minutes. The look in his eyes took her breath away.
“You know I’m crazy about you don’t you lucy?” He asked pushing a stray lock of hair out of her eyes. She looked away not wanting to feel anything. This was too much for her, this isn’t what she wanted from him!
It looked like he expected a response, and she didn’t want to crush his feelings and possibly end there friendship, so instead she crushed her lips against his again. It was effective and it shut him up. Past the point of no return she grabbed his hand in hers, and led her off to her bedroom…
They cuddled thankfully without words, or any talk about relationships or there lack of one, for which Lucy was greatful. Lucy knew what she wanted, and she knew Presley wanted it too, and tonight she was going to give him what he wanted, what they both wanted, even though it was wrong.
Presley, being a gentleman began to pull away. He brushed a lock of red hair from her eyes.
“You sure this is ok?” His brown eyes beamed of hope.
That should have been the moment Lucy needed to make this stop, but she was beyond caring, and wanted this now. She needed to feel a warm body pressed up against hers, even if it was wrong.
“Shut up Presley…” she murmered, pulling off his shirt.
“Argghhhghghghgmehhh” Lucy growned rolling over on to her side the next morning. Her head was pounding so hard it felt like a construction company was erecting a sky scraper in her head.
“Its too damn light in here!” She groaned fumbling for the blinds, squinting in the bright morning light.
She sat up in bed the pain momentarily making her forget the events of last night, all she knew was, that she was never going to drink again! As she looked over she saw Presley curled up in bed next to her snoring softly. He looked peaceful and so happy that the crushing guilt made her gasp. How could she have done this to him?
Lucy Gallagher you are a terrible human being, you should be ashamed of yourself. She thought to herself. She let out a silent scream, how on earth was she going to deal with this mistake?
Not wanting to face reality she got dressed and fixed herself some toaster waffles, they tasted like saw dust in her mouth, maybe it was the guilt.
Presley was still sleeping. She napped on the couch not wanting to crawl back in bed with him. It was better to let him him sleep and hopefully when he woke up, he would leave on his own.
But when she opened her eyes later that afternoon, he was still there, reading at the table in his boxer shorts. She groaned, feeling a little annoyed and angry at his persistance. He was acting like this was his house and he had every right to just laze around in his underwear.
They had both slept on and off most of the day, and as it got later he was still there, like he was making himself at home. She took the book he was reading out of his hands and stood up.
“I think its time you left now.” Her voice was cold, she couldn’t help it.
“Lucy?” He questioned. “Thats fine I was just about to go home any ways, I have to work tomorrow, but is something wrong?”
A rush of words was right at the tip of her tongue, but she swollowed them back and brushed a tear from her eye with her back still turned to him.
“Everythings fine.” She said. Coward! She berated herself. “I’m tired, and I feel like I could hurl.” She laughed a little. It sounded pathetic to her ears. Liar!
He stood up and started toward her like he was going to hug her. She held up a hand and clasped her hand over her mouth like she was going to be sick.
She ran to the bathroom and slammed the door and turned on the water from the sink. She slid down on the floor and cried. A moment later, she heard the front door shut, and he was gone.
Aw, I feel bad for Presley. He seems really sweet and he likes Lucy a lot.
I felt pretty bad playing him. He kept rolling the wants to ask Lucy out and to kiss her. It was all he thought about in his thought bubbles. lol
She’s so cold… but I guess since she has trust issues, it’s understandable.
Yeah she is pretty cold. She does have a lot of trust issues for sure. Thanks for reading!
Poor Lucy… Hope this doesn’t ruin their friendship.
Its never good to have a friends with benefits. 😦 One always develops feelings. 😦
Lol, Lucy needs to make some more friends… Poor guys, I feel bad for both of them…
lol yeah she does. female ones she wont sleep with!
Aww poor Presley. Sucks that she’s acting the way she is. Obviously she has some really deep-rooted issues. She definitely doesn’t need a relationship right now.
Yeah she does. You are right! I think she needs to focus on herself first before jumping into a relationship. Thx for reading!
Lucy… why? 😦
Alchol is bad, it can lead to bad things and look at what you did girl! She can call herself lucky if she don’t end up pregnant!
I have a bad feeling now, things will go to hell, because Lucy can’t feel anything for Presley. Probably because he isn’t the right guy, but I feel sad cause their friendship might end now 😦
She should have listened to herself and said stop… Well, I wish my best luck to the girl! 🙂
Yeah Lucy did a bad bad thing. LOL. Thank you so much for reading. 🙂
Awww, they had such a wonderful day together! Sigh, but then alcohol made her lose her way in wanting to keep him a friend! Eeek! I’m happy that he likes her so much, maybe it’ll eventually sway her to give him a chance, he seems like such a nice guy!
Who hasn’t had a drunken one night stand in there lives. *Raises hand* I know I have. LOL.
Awwwh i feel terrible for both Lucy and Presley…:( I hope this just all blows over and they can go back to being friends, or maybe more…I’m not gonna push it for now xD
Thanks for reading!! 🙂
